Like I said last week, summer is flying by but there’s still time to pack in lots of fun before summer ends. Here are 5 fabulous summer events coming up on Coronado in August that I am looking forward to!
- Coastal Living’s 2014 Showhouse Tour. Coastal Living magazine picked Coronado for their 2014 showhouse, which features the “latest in coastal home design and décor.” Tours are available Wednesday through Sunday, from 10am – 4pm until September 30. Tickets are $25 and available for purchase here.
- Stand Up Comedy at the Del. The Laugh Factory put together a line up of hilarious stand up comedians to perform Thursday – Saturday nights at the Del through August. Tickets start at $35. Check out the schedule and get more details here.
- Oz Con. Celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Wizard of Oz with various Oz themed events and activities including a musical cabaret of Oz songs at the Coronado Playhouse on August 1 -2, a parade and party on August 2 at Spreckels Park, and a special 3-D screening of the movie at Village Theatre .
- Bike the Bay.
