Flagg Coastal Homes, Coronado take center stage at Coastal Living Showhouse

Coastal Living, the nation’s premier, coastal architectural design magazine, each year celebrates coastal home innovation, dream décor, and quality construction by selecting one home above all others to be its “Showhouse.” For 2014, the magazine selected a home built by Flagg Coastal Homes of Coronado, marking the first time a West Coast home was chosen.

Tours will be held July 16-Sept. 30. Tickets are $25. A portion of ticket sales will benefit the Navy SEAL Foundation, which supports the U.S. Navy SEALS, the associated Special Warfare Combatant-Craft Crewmen and Naval Special Warfare, (NSW) support personnel, as well as their families. Tickets can be purchased online at www.coastalliving.com. (Flat shoes are required. No children under 12 will be permitted.)

Located at 100 Ocean Drive and overlooking Sunset Park, the 4,008-square-foot home features an ocean view, five bedrooms, three full and three half baths, a three-car underground garage, media room, pool and spa.

Coastal Living is the Bible for coastal design in the United States,” said John O’Brien, owner of Flagg Coastal Homes, whose company is widely recognized as a premier homebuilder in coastal style, with 32 properties completed to date in Coronado. “That this home was chosen over luxurious homes on both coasts is a distinct honor.”

The Coronado home will be featured in the October 2014 edition of Coastal Living.
