100 years of Islander pride

Coronado Historical Association celebrated the 100th graduating class of Coronado High School at its annual gala held March 14 at the Coronado Island Marriott Resort. Coronado High graduates from years gone by were on hand to show school spirit. The annual event is the largest fundraiser of the year for the historical association, and the 250 attendees bid generously on silent auction items,  the live auction and “raise the paddle” bidding. The dynamic duo of Gerry MacCartee and Nancy Cobb closed out the evening with a look at fashions through the years that indeed captured “The Way We Were” throughout Coronado’s history.
