Sara Harper named a “Top 25” international leader in hospitality marketing

Sara Harper, director of marketing at Hotel del Coronado, was named a 2014 “Top 25” honoree by the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI). Harper received the award at HSMAI’s Adrian Awards dinner reception and gala in February at the New York Marriott Marquis.

“The people named to this list have made incredible contributions to the industry,” said Robert Gilbert, president & CEO of HSMAI. “Their innovative sales, marketing and revenue management ideas have helped fuel the success of the hospitality industry the past two years.”

“Top 25” recipients were selected by a panel of senior industry executives based on recent work that was evaluated for its creativity and innovation; cutting edge sales or marketing campaigns; triumph in challenging situations; and sales efforts that resulted in dramatic gains.

Harper has worked with KSL Resorts, including Hotel del Coronado and La Quinta Resort in the Palm Desert area, for approximately 10 years, interrupted by a three-year period when she and her family lived in Australia. Harper also spent 10 years with Loews Hotels, where her positions included regional director of public relations — West Coast.
